Fellows store design 2010

Description : IV were appointed to design and project manage the shop fit and visual enhancement of Fellows a gift boutique in Oxford. The building is one of the oldest in the city a scheme needed to be designed that was sympathetic to the building. The chosen design was inspired by the building itself and the sports played in the universities.
The existing 1980`s shop fit was removed and the as many of the existing features were kept and renovated.
The store has a central mistrals gallery which allows great views of both floors. We took advantage of this feature by adding in a dramatic vintage looking chandelier with lampshades made out of old union jack flags and embellished with vintage memorabilia. A high level shelf was fitted and dressed with a vintage tennis theme. to add drama and take advantage of the five meter high perimeter wall we added in a picture gallery of union jack flags.
