V&A Spring Windows 2009

Description : International Visual were appointed to design a windows and interior scheme that would tie in with the Stephen Jones Anthology of Hats exhibition in the Porter Gallery; it then needed to be easily adapted to work for high summer.

We designed a simple set of boxes that could be used in different combinations - adding other elements gives them a new lease of life.
The same boxes in smaller dimensions were used within the store in showcases and on fixtures.

We created striped decals, taking inspiration from the Cecil Beaton wallpaper used in the exhibition. The decals were applied to the top of the windows to hide the lighting raft, and on the high-level acrylic display boxes around the perimeter of the store.
