Description : During the summer of 2008, International Visual was contracted to undertake a low-cost visual enhancement of the Velbert Store. With only a small budget of €1000 to spend we had to use lots of visual tricks and creative thinking to create a stunning store.We reused existing fixtures and visual equipment in new ways; together with paint, wallpaper and decals. One of the major changes that we implemented was the way the fixtures were used in each department and the way the product was displayed on the fixtures. By doing this we were able to increase product density but also make customer flow around each department and shopping the fixtures easier.
The results spoke for themselves with increases of over 80% in most departments of the store. Due to the sucess of this trial we were asked to complete the same exercise in another 6 stores.
